Fort Severn Goose hunt

Cal Kenny

As part of the Lands and Resources (lands.knet.ca) and the community of  Fort Severn KO's Cal Kenny was invited to film the spring goose hunt and various other activities that take place during this exciting time.  During this special time of year the community members harvest the geese for the entire community.

"Over the years I have been invited to Fort Severn to film/participate in traditional activities for documentation purposes and each time I learn so much. What stands out in my mind is the respect for the land that is given by the community members. If you care for the land, the land will care for you".  Cal Kenny
